Hillcrest is a welcoming and comfortable Georgian guest house in the small market town of Rothbury, which is located on the banks of the river Coquet in Northumberland.  It combines traditional elegance with modern facilities, including wireless computer networking in our two lovely ensuite guest rooms; satellite television is also provided in our stylish guest lounge and dining room.

We provide a delicious vegetarian breakfast in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and evening meals, on request, in our spacious guest dining room. Walkers and cyclists are very welcome; we have a drying room for outdoor gear and secure storage for bikes. Hillcrest is an animal-friendly environment with a resident dog and cat.

We are in an ideal location for you to explore the many and varied attractions of Northumberland, coast and moorland, lovely gardens, forests and hills.
